Breaking Dawn :) or :(

I don't know about anyone else, but I loved Breaking Dawn. When I started reading it I wondered how she was able to make the book so long. I mean it's like, a couple gets married and then The End, where could she go from there. For some reason though, her writing style somehow just matches with my personality because I was into the book the whole time. Guess I'm just a sucker for a good love story! If anyone else has read it let me know what you thought!

Yeah, Friday night is almost here! That's right folks, Breaking Dawn is almost here.........finally! I didn't even realize this Saturday was the 2nd until today. I am so excited...this week my be worth something afterall. But I have to promise myself that I won't start reading it Friday night or I will stay up all night and be worthless at work Saturday night! If she ends up with Jacob I will burn that book and curse Stephanie Meyer! Just out of curiosity, does anyone want her to end up with Jacob?!?!?!?

Torrance is quite the little imitator. She learned this funny little "mad face" from watching her cousin do it! I am trying to get a better one to put on, but this one is still pretty funny!

This, as most people know it, is a Sparkler!
In the Aston family, THIS, is what WE call a Sparkler! That's right, if you want your children to grow up to be pyros feel free to come to an Aston party! And no, that is not a look of terror in his eyes, it is the look of pure joy and excitement! :)

For any and all moms and moms to be.

If you like structure and routine in your life than I have the books for you. The BabyWise series saved my life. I never really took care of any babies or knew that much about them growing up, so I read alot while I was pregnant and thought I was good to go. Well, after I brought Torrance home I was freaking out because I felt really overwhelmed. I really did not know how to take care of her, I needed some instructions and I needed them bad. Enter the Babywise books. They have really helped me feel like I am still in control of my life while giving Torrance structure and confidence through routine. People are always saying how amazing her eating and sleeping habits are, and I owe it to those books. It also makes it really easy for my in-laws to watch her because they know exactly when she eats and how her routine works. They probably aren't for everyone but if you like a lot of structure these are the books for you.

Happy 5th of July!

We held off our family bbq until Saturday because everyone was at the Stadium of Fire on the 4th. It was fun, but stupid Spanish Fork had to ruin the fireworks with it's stupid incessant wind. Oh well, the kids didn't care. Here are some pics of 6mo.old Torrance and her 4 mo. old cousin Adley.

So Macey's had a 4th of July celebration where they had drawings for like 12 different items. So I was like, sure I would love to win a 42 in plasma tv! So this morning I get a call saying hi is this Heather this is blah blah from Macey's you won something in our drawing yesterday. I of course knew that I had won the tv and was totally pumped................then she continued saying,"you won a pedal car so come and get it." Dang, I was so sure that I was the luckiest person ever! So here is a picture of my prize.. it's kind of fitting to our family really! :)
